Austrian Authorities Foil Suicide Attack Plot Targeting Taylor Swift Concert

Austrian security officials have thwarted a planned suicide attack on a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna. A 19-year-old suspect, who had pledged allegiance to ISIS, admitted to planning an attack using explosives and knives. The suspect, who had stolen chemicals from his former job, intended to target the sold-out concert at Ernst Happel Stadium, where over 195,000 fans were expected. 

The concert has been canceled. Authorities arrested the main suspect and two accomplices, seizing weapons and evidence of preparatory actions. The attack was reportedly planned for the day of the concert, which was canceled to ensure public safety.
