Back-to-School Budget Crunch: Parents Adjust to Rising Costs of School Supplies

As back-to-school season arrives, Canadian parents are finding creative ways to manage rising costs despite inflation easing. Parents like April Hicke are doubling budgets and turning to deals, sales, and resale sites to cope with higher prices on clothing and school supplies.

With essentials like food also becoming more expensive, parents are focusing on strategies like coupon use, thrifting, and mindful purchasing to stretch their budgets further.
