Delta Air Lines Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Handling of Meltdown Reimbursements

Delta Air Lines is facing a class action lawsuit for allegedly mishandling reimbursements related to its recent operational meltdown. Passengers claim Delta has failed to provide promised compensation for canceled or significantly delayed flights, as well as for out-of-pocket expenses like hotel and meal costs.

Individual cases highlight issues such as denied compensation and inadequate vouchers. The lawsuit seeks to compel Delta to fully reimburse affected passengers. The airline has reportedly offered minimal compensation, often only in the form of future travel vouchers or nominal amounts, while ignoring reimbursement requests.
