Health Canada Issues Multiple Recalls: Snacks, Beverages, and Bike Seats

Health Canada has issued several recalls affecting Canadian shoppers. Organic Aussie Bites sold at Costco between March 14 and June 16 are being recalled due to undeclared gluten, which poses a risk to those with celiac disease or gluten-related disorders.

At Walmart, various Silk and Great Value plant-based beverages are recalled for potential Listeria contamination, linked to nine listeriosis cases in Ontario. Additionally, Thule RideAlong Child Bike Seats sold at Canadian Tire are recalled due to the presence of the toxic flame-retardant DecaBDE. Consumers should return these products to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement.
