NASA Reschedules Starliner Astronaut Launch for June 5

NASA has rescheduled the first astronaut-crewed flight on Boeing’s Starliner to 10:52 a.m. ET on June 5, after a last-minute cancellation on June 1 due to a computer ground launch sequencer issue. The ULA team resolved the problem by replacing a faulty ground power unit. Astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams will spend a week on the ISS, evaluating the spacecraft's systems. If successful, NASA will certify the Starliner for regular missions, complementing SpaceX’s Dragon in the Commercial Crew Program. This mission follows several delays, including issues with an oxygen valve and a helium leak.
