SpaceX Achieves Milestone as Giant Robotic Arms Catch Starship's Booster

On Sunday, SpaceX's giant robotic arms, dubbed "Mechazilla," successfully caught the first stage booster of its Starship rocket, a significant step toward achieving a fully reusable rocket system. The Starship, a two-stage heavy lift vehicle standing nearly 120 meters tall, is designed to transport crew and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

This mission, which marked the fifth test launch, involved the booster detaching and returning to land safely at the Boca Chica launch site. SpaceX aims to use Starship for future missions, including transporting NASA astronauts to the Moon as part of the Artemis III program.
