Tropical Storm Debby Drenches Quebec and Ontario with Heavy Rain




Tropical Storm Debby has made landfall in eastern Canada, drenching parts of Quebec and Ontario with heavy rain. Environment Canada issued warnings for significant rainfall, with some areas expected to receive up to 120 millimetres of rain. The storm has caused road flooding, flight delays, and closures of municipal buildings and attractions. 


Montreal experienced severe flooding, affecting major roads and the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. Emergency services are on high alert, advising residents to avoid driving through flooded areas. The storm's impact is expected to continue into eastern Ontario and New Brunswick, bringing additional rain through Saturday.
