Victoria’s Secret Names Hillary Super as New CEO, Shares Surge




Victoria’s Secret has appointed Hillary Super as its new CEO, effective September 9, succeeding Martin Waters, who will remain as an advisor until the end of the month. Super, previously CEO of Savage X Fenty and former Global CEO of Anthropologie Group, brings expertise in appealing to younger consumers and revitalizing retail brands. 


This change comes as Victoria’s Secret continues to navigate challenges with slowing sales and efforts to reinvent its brand. The announcement led to a 14% jump in Victoria’s Secret shares before the market opened. Super will focus on accelerating growth in Victoria’s Secret’s North American core business.
